The three-layer build

The RaceDefinition / ClassDefinition / ArchetypeType (54 entries) triple is the core character matrix. The starting-grant classes prove each layer independently contributes kit:

  • StartingRaceSpells — racial abilities
  • StartingClassSpells — class kit
  • StartingArchetypeSpells + StartingArchetypePassive — archetype modifier

So a character is the union of three spell lists plus archetype passives — much deeper than race-as-cosmetic design.

Races

Race has 20 entries: Human, Elf, Minotaur, Golem, Centaur, Troll, Fairy and more. Race data (RaceValue, RaceValueBool, RaceGenderValueGameObject) drives per-race body variants, gender splits, and animation sets. CharacterHeadTint and CharacterAppearance confirm visual customization beyond stats.

Archetypes (54)

The 54 ArchetypeType entries are build-defining modifiers — ElementalRanger, SpiritGuardian, DefenderOfTheRealm, Wildstrider, GloomStalker, MasterArchitect, EchoWeaver, ForestWhisperer… Each archetype is a thematic package that reshapes how your class plays, and many map 1:1 onto passive tree keystones.

Customization systems

CharacterCatalog + CharacterCustomizationPanel + CharacterAnimatedPreview form the live-preview character creator; CharacterPreviewTint confirms dye/tint support on the preview model.

Re-spec

The SkillTreeHoldRespecButton system allows respeccing passives (hold-to-confirm), and spell upgrades are reversible via SpellUpgradeEntry — mistakes are recoverable, encouraging experimentation across the race/class/archetype matrix.
